Neighbors in Christ has been serving
Montgomery since 2001. Prior to 2001,  our  organization existed as
“Neighbors Who Care,” founded in 1989.

 

WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Neighbors in Christ comes from the familiar Bible story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37. A lawyer asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus answered by telling of a man who cared for the needs of a victim of crime. “Go,” Jesus said, “and do the same.”
